Glad you liked this episode guys and many thanks for your interesting and knowledgeable comments. I can see the desirability and value of the first Holden continuing to rise, particularly after GM stops building cars in Australia. As discussed in the show, it's always nice to be able to 'book end' a car collection with the first and last model and I reckon more and more Holden enthusiasts will want to do that. I've always loved the 48-215 ute, or 50-2106 as they were officially called. Only problem is, at 188cm tall, I can barely fit inside the things. Aussie workers must have been smaller in the 1950s!
