And that awfull big dent in the mudguard.[/quote] You and I have never agreed on this one, Bentley, but the 'dent in the mudguard' made it look less bulbous at the back, and it was a neat way to have the wrap round bumpers sitting flush with the rest of the car instead of protruding. The twin lights would have been more visible than the contemporary Holden or Mark 1 Zephyr. Also it gave room for later models such as this '57 to have larger tail-lights.
