I rented a Hyundai Getz in Melbourne and wanted to hate it. A week later and I didn't want to give it back. A motoring journo friend of mine, the late John Weinthal bought a new one for his daughter. When I asked why, he said it was the best small car at the time (about 2012), so that convinced me when I bought a used one. Never a problem, and more than a town car, because I did two fast trips to Victoria from Brisbane in it. My only criticism would be that on country roads, the ride was a bit like a billycart, but I could forgive it for that. The low profile tyres may have had something to do with it.
