The Rootes Group liked their themed names. Hillman Minx and Imp; Sunbeam Rapier and Stiletto, Singer Gazelle and Chamois. Then there is the Sunbeam badge - is it a dog or a lion? I have heard the answer but can't remember it. To the Australian names you can add Illinga (towards the horizon), the still-born GT car from the mid-70s.
