Freeway, your comment on FE and FC Holdens grilles reminds me of the changes to grille on Chevs, 1955 to 1956 to 1957. The '55 has a simpler design, on to a wider look to the '56 and the '57 adorned with a ton of chrome. To me, the '56 Chev is the "Goldilocks" model. Not too plain, not too fancy, but just right.
