Good day Mike. My 20 year old Land Rover has a kit that integrates a modern head unit into the dash and allows my steering wheel controls to function. It has given me Bluetooth audio and telephone functionality, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a reversing camera. Harnesses are now standardised and will allow me to upgrade the unit with minimal fuss.
