Yes Retro, I have fond memories of 1974 for all the reasons listed here. That year was also significant for the arrival of the Holden Sandman package late in HQ production in early 1974. It was such a hit that it became a regular option in future models. Those were the days when local car makers were so confident, they weren't afraid to try new things.
