maybe somebody"s dream car would be the type 3 of around 1967 which had the very rare bosch D jetronic fuel injection. this was way ahead of its time because it was sequential injection (took holden nearly 30 years to catch up), the injection pulse was timed by two extra sets of points hiding under the base plate of the ignition points at the bottom of the distributor. this car had very neutral steering and good power for the brand at the time, and was therefore great at 4 wheel drifts on those smooth canberra roundabouts (road closed for demonstration purposes), does anybody remember the type 4 (1700cc EFI) both cars are a great step forward from that beetle thing
