Discussion of old country motor dealerships brings to mind Parkers in Colac. A fabulous old art decco building still proudly wearing its Chevrolet signage. Today a shell of what once was, it stands empty awaiting its fate. We couldn't resist taking a couple of shots of our Chevrolets out the front when attending the Colac car show a few years ago. We also did the same when passing the deserted Holden dealership in Peak Hill NSW on our way to Cooktown. Another fragment of local history gone.
