You can buy a new fascia to suit various electronic displays. If one was handy with the tools and electronics knowledge, individual displays could be inserted in the standard square gauge spaces. In my flight of ideas I have though about such things, in particular as I would like a reverse camera display somewhere that does not look out of place.
