I'd add the amazing Rotinoff Viscount, of which 2 were made for road train work for Vestey's in the NT. There's one at the Transport Hall of Fame in Alice Springs. Rolls-Royce engine, Sherman tank transmission. Amazing. There is also a unique 8x8 AEC truck, the first road train prime mover. I'll bet they were both a ball of fun in hot weather.... AFAIK, the Mighty Antar was a UK military contract winner originally, not for oil interests. I still have two Dinky toy examples which my grandson loves.
