With regard to the resistance of purists towards the purchase of a 2.3 ltr/4 cylinder 'Ecoboost' powered Mustang I would love to see Ford strike up an arrangement with Toyota to bring back an upgraded '76 Mustang Celica c/w the 2.3 ltr Ford engine. In so doing this will finally present us with a ligitimate creation from both companies - rather than just the scaled down copy we once had from Toyota itself. P.S. Morgul and I both owned Celicas in the 70's so I'm wondering if fellow members think this proposal would be more acceptable this time around? Meanwhile, here's what I think must be the best example in Australia of a '76 Mustang Celica. Click on the pic.
