Hi Madmuz, The era when my friend fitted the Imp engine was before Rotax engines had come on the scene so choice was limited. I cannot recall how the Imp motor was mounted or what gearbox was used. I never did see him fly it however I know that it did achieve flight several times. I did have Bensen B8 gyroglider at one time but never got around to fitting an engine, just towed it behind a vehicle
