I've always liked the 300C (who wouldn't want a Hemi V8!) and with a bit of love and care you'll end up with a nice post-millennium collectable.
Not sure about collectable - the thing about the V8 300C to me is that it's a cheap (and fantastic looking) alternative to the locally produced muscle cars. My parents owned a Chrysler by Chrysler for a while back in the 1970s and this seems like it's natural successor. The Hemi is a lovely thing - very different to the V8s sold in Chryslers here. Thoroughly modern despite the pushrods, and in this case the pushrods are a godsend for the home engine rebuilder as it makes dismantling these motors very easy. I'm not a huge fan of the suspension though, it seems under-specified for the weight of the car. Hopefully the uprated parts make something of a difference. These pictures are from earlier while I was waiting for engine parts, the drivers seat was torn but I was able to buy a replacement cover. Fitting that was easy as well.
