Wow! How time flies freeway. Thanks for this reminder of a small car I really liked. I thought the Clubman facelift was a well-balanced and visually pleasing design evolution for this icon. Interestingly, it followed in the Cooper S's tyre tracks at Bathurst, with Clubman GTs entered in both the 1975 and 1976 Bathurst 1000s before the 1300cc class was dropped due to the alarming increase in closing speeds between large and small cars. The Clubman GTs failed to finish on both occasions.
