You're right Silvercloud. The mighty 225 slant six ranks as one of Chrysler's finest engines, along with its equally revered Torqueflite automatic of course. Another little-known victory for the slant six Valiant was in the 1969 Sandown 250 (aka Three-Hour) when a pair of new VF Pacers finished 1-2 in Class C. Nothing like racing success to boost a car's credibility!
