On the list of silly things that annoy me, the interior light was inoperative and missing the plastic cover. I bought a new one but when I pulled the old one out and compared them, the new one was fragile and terrible quality, barely able to hold a bulb. When installed it flickered when I shifted in the seat. The old one was just dirty. A quick clean of the switch with solvent fixed the electrics. I stole the bulb and the cover from the new one. Cover doesn’t quite snap into place so will need a little help to keep it there. Maybe a tiny blob of silicone on the tabs will do the job but at least it works and comes on and off with the door. Yep still procrastinating about pulling that steering box. Edit: hands now stink like cigarettes yuck
