After being caught yesterday in the first rain for ages, I gave the car a good rinse today. Cleaning a new vehicle is the best way to find the defects. I did not get around to the interior but there is nothing externally that I can pick. The paint is blemish free and glossy. Panel fit is tight and even. The car was waxed at pre-delivery so I gave that a miss today. I opened the 'frunk' today. It is neatly finished off although the storage area is not as deep as the other car as this one houses a high tech unit to efficiently provide for cabin heating and cooling. I previously purchased a Type 2 to Type 2 EV charging cable from the local Bunnings store. Tesla Superchargers and some public stations have the cord and plug but for some it is BYO. Best to be prepared. I will keep them in the large storage area below the boot floor along with a first aid kit, warning triangle, high visibility vest and the 240V chargers that Tesla supply. For the last car I bought the cables made by Jet Charge. They are of excellent quality.
