Thanks Motown1. yes, the Adayer Sportif 2-door conversions for early model Commodores definitely qualifies as a DIY kit car because the Queensland mob that built them (Dominion and International Automobiles) also offered the conversion components as kits direct to the public. Not sure how many were converted to two doors by home builders but it was an interesting idea. And if you look at the VH shadow tone concept here, you'd have to agree that when done right the two-door Commodore was a sharp-looking machine.
