It's funny cj429 that the Ford guys kind of relied on you knowing what you were doing - todays motors (well, anything designed in the last 30 years) are all silicon seals in channels and very hard to get wrong because you have no opportunity to do so. I'm lucky that the local small auto parts place has a guy who is a Ford enthusiast and is helping me with the parts list - he pointed out a lot of the issues and we're going to replace a few things here and there with uprated parts. I finally got it up on my engine stand thankfully so it will go a little faster from here.
