I agree JRM3150 with your thoughts especially Pininfarina and Giugiaro who was the designer of the Muira-don't believe the apocryphal rubbish about Gandini as the line drawings (e.g the shape) were done by Giugiaro before Gandini even arrived at Bertone. Guigiaro still has these and are dated. Another example of Italian loose historical recollection. Guigiaro also designed the Maserati Ghibli which is a knock out and so many others. As was the case at PF, the designer of the Daytona, Berlinetta Boxer, 365GT4 2 +2, F40, 288GTO and the 308GTB among many other stand outs was not revealed for decades until recently.
