I certainly bought my '79 VB Commodore SL for love. I payed $4500 for it at the end of '95 and over the last 3 years have spent $2500 bringing it up to scratch inside and out, plus $400 on a set of Supercats and $400 on personalised plates. I often wonder what else I'd rather have but every time someone remarks on the VB it makes me realise that I'm better off staying with what I've got.
