Hasbeen - having the top cover with the RACQ gives absolute peace of mind, particularly those of us who drive older cars. We spend enough time checking temperature, oil pressure and ignition gauges without worrying what happens if it suddenly stops halfway to Perth. I posted this comment about 3 months ago. "My 1800 is on club rego and when a Hydrolastic suspension line sprung a leak at Gympie, they sent a guy out who assessed it and then sent a flat top out and the car was taken back to Brisbane for no charge at all. Can't speak highly enough of them! I might say that both RACQ guys were totally mystified at the workings of a fluid suspension, but then they were both under 50......" The only other car of mine so far to be towed onto a flat-top was my Getz when an ignition lead packed up. Free of charge to the Hyundai dealer who charged me $80 for a new set of leads and I was on my way.
