I bought a 1969 DBS in 1985 for only $16000 in Melbourne. Unfortunately a previous owner removed the six cylinder engine and gearbox and replaced it with a 350 Chevrolet turbo 400 power plant. It did go and sound great but the rear axle ratio did not suit the new motor so it geared very low. I could not take it overt 160 kph without over revving the motor. Not for the purists but still fun.
