and that is one done. Going to sit back and have a bit of a think about this. Not exactly efficient but maybe there is no other way to do it. Putting the polyurethane bushes in there was a bit tougher than I thought, the metal bushing inside acts as an expander so you can't just slot it in it has to be (lightly) pressed so it holds the two urethane pieces together - they have a slight taper to them inside which means if you try to just push it in, the opposite one wants to escape or the one you are pushing on pushes itself off. I used the ball joint press again. Did finally finagle it back on but I'm not too happy about having to shim it out a bit as the supplied washer won't fit on the knuckle without them. What did I ever do without a rattle gun and ratchet spanners, so much wasted effort in the past trying to "make do" when those two simple tools make things much easier. edit: The black stuff you get when you burn rubber bushes is about the filthiest, stickiest substance ever. I ended up with it all over the floor and had to use clothes detergent to get it off my hands. Yuck!
