Smackey, My TE Wagon's previous owners were two young blokes who lowered it slightly. They drove from Brisbane Northside to Toowoomba regularly, carrying a Go-Kart in back of the wagon for racing up there. For the few years I owned it, I carried a heap of musical equipment to gigs and a duo buddy in passenger seat. It never let me down. I even TOWED a band member's broken-down Falcon Panelvan from Anzac avenue Kallangur to the gig at Redcliffe Leagues Club and the Cortina did it easily. I only sold it because I accumulated a 4 x big Speaker bin PA system that wouldn't fit, that's when I bought my HZ Holden panelvan. These are reasons I can't understand criticism of the TE Cortina, but maybe I had a good run and didn't buy a heap-of-shit to begin with ? The motor of my wagon below. It chewed off a few V8's !
