'They say they have been here since 1923 and thus are the longest running car brand in Australia.' Two makes I can think of that have been continuously sold in Australia from before 1923 would be Ford and Rolls-Royce. The first Ford sold locally was around 1904 and to the best of my knowledge has been running since then - maybe interrupted by war time but then so would Citroen. Similarly Rolls-Royce has been here since well before WW1 - these two ads from the NSW distributors Dalgety & Co date from 1920 and 1922.
