Not that I know of PonyRider. What really gets me is that there is no mention of the extra wiring in the factory wiring diagram. Perhaps the later C210 had some extra feature that my late '77 "end of run" car received? I like the idea of the ignition retarding device in 5th gear and it is possible that the distributor was changed out at an early stage of the car's life. The car had travelled over 80,000 km's before it made it's way to our area in '82.......and only done 90,000 km's since!! My best guess is that the extra switches have something to do with the complex EGR (pollution) system.
