"crystalmeths" was asking about Ford Australia concept cars ... there were plenty of show specials, as there were from Holden, all based on current model cars of the time. I just had a dig around my library and closest thing to a Concept Car that I found was the potential 1980s Ford Falcon replacement codenamed Capricorn ... the Capricorn project was initiated in 1980 when Ford got nervous about the future of large cars in the wake of the success of Holden Commodore in 1979 ... here's a few scans, poor as they may be, showing that the final 1981 evolution of Capricorn carried over some styling influences to the Telstar cars that Ford adapted from the Mazda 626 in 1983 ...
