I think its fitting to mention one of Victorias most famous FX holdens built by a couple of very clever boys from Springvale in the 60s Joe Pirotta & Charlie Caruana! it started out with 272 Y block with Holden painted on the rocker covers so their wives woundnt know the engine was borrowed from the daily driver! it was then updated with 360 hp fuel injected 289 windsor & ran low 13s at calder, it was beautifully prepared & built. saw it a couple of times in both guises don't know what happened to it but it was a real goer
