Might as well add something about the Benz as well. We didn't buy it as a classic, just something relatively cheap for my wife to drive. Apart from the fact that it was converted to dedicated LPG by the previous owner, which we found out later Mercedes engines don't really like that much, it's not a bad little car. Pretty much all the suspension and steering bushes, ball joints and tie-rod ends have been replaced and it rides like new - so composed. Not bad for a car with over 300,000km on the clock. Now recently converted to CPS plates because we don't use it that much and because it's now old enough.
