Having owned and cared for my '79 VB Commodore SL since returning to live in Australia in 1996 I have not once looked to replace it. Prior to leaving the country in 1988 I owned a Commodore Vacationer Estate (SL) c/w with luxury velour seating - a car I never forgot during the whole seven years I was away - so it was inevitable I would look for another Holden as soon as I came back here. Now almost 30 years later I still look forward to driving the car when I make my weekly shop and showing it off at local car events.
