All my nephews and nieces were put through advanced and defensive driving courses. One niece said she owed her life because as she avoided a very nasty accident on a round-about in her rwd Mazda 626. When I bought my E2000 Mazda Van, it scared the life out me when it got hit by a gust of wind on the top of the Gateway Bridge causing it to change lanes. Also, the handling was so different empty from when it had about 30 boxes of books on board. So I took it to a friend of mine, the late Doug Lucas who was an advanced driving instructor at Mount Cotton in Brisbane. He had me doing all sorts of tricks on the skid-pan, both full and empty, which gave me a lot more confidence in what the van could and couldn't do. He said the Mazda was a snack after training ambulance drivers in those F-Series Fords before the Mercedes replaced them.
