Too late for me, DrewD, I've sold my XJs. I once considered buying a used Saab 9000 but it proved to be one of the worst buckets of bolts I've ever driven. Funny, I don't think the pre-GM Saabs would have deteriorated so quickly. The best Saabs were surely the 1950s and 1960s models which had such success in rallying, despite small engines. Erik ('On the Roof'') Carlsson made his name in these, winning the 1962 and 1963 Monte Carlo rallies in a Saab 96.
