Most Peugeot owners back in the '50s and '60s wouldn't have considered a Holden at any price. Wouldn't have even entered their minds. My extended family had three 504s, with neighbours going from 203 to 504 via 403 and 404. One of the better comparisons was done by Modern Motor in September 1967 of a 404 with an Austin 1800. Both cars well thought of.
