Harmonic balancer now on. I must be tired or something, went to put it on and thought “wow that is tight, how did I get it off?” And then remembered I bought a puller specifically for that job from Repco. Use it one way for removal, change out the tip to an appropriate sized thread and pull the harmonic balancer back on. I’ve seen people try to do it with the crank bolt alone and ruined the crank. Don’t do that, get the proper tool. Before installation I put a little grease on the nose of the crank and also on the outside surface of the harmonic balancer where it mates with the front seal. Not sure if that makes any difference but I feel better about it keeping the oil in.
