Madmuz - the pick-up thingy in the South African Shell Servo is one of those dreaded Standard Atlas Twenty, which made the Rootes Commer, Ford Thames and BMC Morris J2 Morris Messenger look pretty good. Look at how inboard the front wheels are which would have made for perilous handling when fully laden. Things were OK for the Brits until those wretched Germans came in with their VW Kombis..... I've cropped this pic every which way Madmuz, and I think if Shannon's could give us the proportions of accepted A4, we wouldn't have these problems with loading pics. Any American car of the '50s would be chopped off at both ends as most of the pics dropped on here indicate.
