Loved this article. Every avenue was vetoed by CAMS it seemed for HDT at the time. I was a massive Dick Johnson fan at the time and agreed with their stance against the large valve heads. The irony is now, my wife and I are the custodians of the John Bowe RoC pictured here in this article! Love all of the old Group C stuff and the era. I remember going to Sandown every year from 76 to 84 and hoping for a Moffat or Johnson victory, but Brocky seemed to own that event. Great work Mark
