None of those became household names as far as I know.[/quote] The editor of Motor Manual was Keith Winser. I'm not sure if he started it, but he was certainly running the mag during the '50s. It became a fortnightly in 1954 putting a strain on my pocket money pittance, which meant I had to go out an earn it! These images are from the first issue in April 1946 and the contributors were mainly ex-servicemen which is a reflection of the time.
