I think the Lotus Cortina's would still have been too good as they were beating the Galaxies in some Vintage Saloon car racing I saw recently on TV. I dont ever remember a Galaxie at Katoomba but this might have been before I started going to motor racing in 1963. I did find a photo of Norm's Galaxie at Lowood just ahead of Max Volkers Lotus Cortina in 1964. Scanned photo from a motor magazine article
