Hi Mirrabucca, sounds like your Minx roughie set you up to appreciate everything you had afterwards :D Regarding the wheels on your Minx, I believe the utes had 16's and the sedans had 15's......someone correct me if I'm wrong. I know Fords did that at the same time, our restored '54 Mainline has 16's while a few crusty old Customlines we have all had 15's. I'll share some pics below of some comparison shots I took of the Commer ute and the Hillman Minx sedan side by side.....not much difference. They do have different bonnet slam panels though, and the front marker lights are positioned differently. Perhaps they were assembled at different factories?
