Back in the 50's one of my dad's mates owned a Riley 2.5 litre ( "big four" ). It had a walnut dash and a tachometer plus other gauges. Fascinating stuff for car-mad me. Always looked forward to going for a ride in it, He later changed it for a Simca Vedette, which wasn't quite the same.
