In an attempt to jolly along sales, Holden introduced the special edition SJ. It had a range of brilliant colours 'hot to the touch', blacked out front and rear ends, an air dam and cast alloy wheels. Inside it was 'as black as sin'. It sported a 5-speed box, and 'underneath its scorching surface is SJ's spirited Camtech 4.' Not only your mother would hate it. One wonders at the SJ nomenclature. Surely not a reminder of the fabulous 1932 Duesenberg SJ...!
