I would call it an MPV (aka people mover) coupe rather than SUV, which might go some way to explaining the unpopularity. Definitely a curiosity that deserves to be remembered though. Top Gear gave it a decent run, hotting one up to try and beat an Evo, complete with backwards-mounted F1 rear wing. (although I had initially got this one mixed up with the convertible Espace through the car wash one...)
