I've always admired the PA Cresta because it won the first Armstrong 500 at Phillip Island. And for sheer outrageous performance the 199-92 Lotus Carlton, based on the UK's Vauxhall Carlton sedan in a collaboration with Lotus, still packs a punch more than two decades later. A 3.6 litre twin turbo inline six with claimed 377 bhp (281kW) and top speed of 176 mph (282 km/h). A very special 'special vehicle' from the land of cold pies and warm pints.
