Whilst l have enjoyed many four and six cylinder engines there is something about the effortless power of a V8. Many years ago when l purchased an HQ Holden tow car with a 308 under the bonnet l was hooked. It felt faster than my GT Cortina Group N race car! It probably wasn't but the low down urge was a revelation to me. Since then l have had many Holden V8s along with Chevys, LS motors and a single Ford 351 Cleveland. The blown 350 in my 56 Chevy can certainly get your attention and l can't wait to kick some life into the 308 in my old Group C Torana L34. V8s forever!
