Quote(Hasbeen): With rain, air flow is everything. ...you don't need a windscreen if you go fast enough. In the open wheelers of my day, where you looked over the windscreen, [or deflector a better description], you stayed dry down to about 35 MPH. (unquote) Tip for the uninitiated: If you find yourself without a windscreen in your everyday runabout due to a loose stone coming your way make sure that all side windows are down (as well as your speed) otherwise you risk loosing your rear window due to the build up of air pressure inside the cabin. *It was only through shear luck that it didn't happen to me way back in 1972 near Cowra.
