In the early 1950s I used to see a smart little red sports car going home every afternoon. It had bolt on wire wheels and hub caps,( Hillman, Singer?), cycle guards and a spare wheel on the rear. The radiator surround had two grilles like a Ford Anglia. It had a professional built body and a neatly fitted hood. It was NOT an Austin 7. This photo is as close to the car I have ever seen. I would love to know what it was.
