Motown, I've also great memories of working both at the Sydney Motor Show and the Royal Easter Show. BMC had their own stand and for a couple of years we had the 1800 which was used in the Crossroads Alice trip displayed outside, while I ran the 30 minute film made by Evan Green every hour on the hour for the entire Show in a little theatrette. I can still recite it line by line. We had a display of automatic stick shifts used in the auto Minis and 1100s so you could see how the 'his 'n hers' concept worked. Schoolboys trying to demolish them was a challenge, and we had to remove everything like gearshift knobs and cigarette lighters. Cars which survived the show were usually registered as company cars.
