That's an interesting photo of the Riley above - it looks like a cross between a Pathfinder and a Wolseley 6/90... Looks like Riley grille but other bits different. I had a Pathfinder and it was an interesting car - big, real luxury feel in interior and ride, but while that Riley 2.5 engine could get it up to a fairly high speed, it had a bit of weight to drag before getting there. I think it was a Riley designed car, using its suspension etc just before merger with BMC and then the 6/90 used the body. But I think the Riley rear suspension didn't stand up to the weight of it all and parnard rod would break and got them the nickname 'ditchfinder'. I didn't drive mine much but I enjoyed driving it.
